This project is heavily inspired by Hobart Phillips' Vekllei (Link: MillMint), which was the inspiration for the central country of this project - the Rosen Commonwealth. What is the Rosen Commonwealth?
The Rosen Commonwealth is a country on the continent of East Aya. Its history goes back several hundred years and encompasses revolutions, civil wars, and general political intrigue.

What is the point of this project?
This project is my creative outlet. It exists via obsidian, and is meant to be viewed by me, so one can view this whole thing as part worldbuilding project, part journal, in some kind of way. There isn't necessarily a cohesive story or plotline associated with the projecto

What is the Rosen Commonwealth's world?
The Rosen Commonwealth is set in our solar system in the near future, on a planet named Avaya. Avaya is identical to Earth, save for the fact that its human history and landmasses are different. However, the system of the date and time is exactly the same as ours.
The Rosen Commonwealth's defining moment was the Nuclear Crisis - when the Commonwealth's first political iteration exchanged nuclear arms in 1989 with its ideological rivals around the world.

Is the Rosen Commonwealth socialist?
I mean, more or less. I've always been inclined leftward, and, as I said, I believe this project reflects aspects of myself in some kind of way. If you ask a Rosen, they won't have a clear answer either. They'll tell you they're in some kind of transition stage between post-capitalism and socialism.

Now, more than half a century after the dust has settled, the Rosen Commonwealth builds its own future and marks its spot in human history.
